good! If you didn't I would be a bit concerned. all photographers and videographers are different, and questions help you find the perfect fit for you and your vision! I curated the most commonly asked questions I get so you can get a better idea of me and my brand before contacting me. Are you a mainly a photographer or videographer?
my love for both is equal! but as the name suggests, I primarily shoot photography for weddings. not because I'm better at one than the other, but because films are a much larger production, so I only take very few per season. whether it's photo or video, I pour everything I got into it! which also means that I do not offer photo & video at the same time, sorry!
Are you the right photographer for us?
okay, here’s the lowdown. I’m the right photographer if...
1. you like the photos you see on my insta/website
2. I seem like a cool person to hang out with
3. you’re down to get a little adventurous (like sneak out the reception to snag some sunset photos)
4. you want amazing wedding photos but also want to enjoy the day, minimize stress and share romantic moments with your partner
that’s basically what it comes down to. choose a photographer whose work you love and who you think you’ll mesh with, cause they’re gonna be hanging out with you for basically the entire day!
What's your style?
I could throw around some adjectives to describe my style but to most people, it won’t really mean much.
I take a documentary/lifestyle approach to photography, which means I favour capturing candid, unscripted moments.
I’m still gonna be posing you and guiding you when needed, but for those times where you just need to be present in the moment and not have a camera in your face, I’ll be a fly on the wall.
my editing style is film inspired. I love shadows, warm tones, moody lighting, contrast and deep colours. images that provoke emotion is the goal.
Chicago or New York style pizza?
new york, ALL THE WAY.
but hey, I’m a fan of the whole genre. (yes, that includes pineapple on pizza, no shame!!)
Would you travel for a wedding?
ab-so-lutely. I love travelling and will hop on a plane in a heartbeat.
What's the booking process?
okay, so step one is contacting me via the contact page. you can expect an answer within 24-48 hrs!
from there we can continue emailing or we can hop on a facetime call so I can answer any further questions you have. I want you to be a hundred million percent confident about this!
once you’re ready, we sign the contract, make a 20% deposit, and boom. we’re set! the final payment is due 3 weeks before the wedding. but until then, we have all the time in the world to dream up how we’re gonna perfectly capture the best day of your life.
Do you offer services apart from weddings and couples?
